If you see a makermark on a red cross leader or an em blade it is wrong.

What about the P for PD Luneschloss on the tang? I agree about anything other than a dedication on the blade being wrong.

Tang marks and trademarks would be two different things. There should not be a visible trademark on the ricasso of the blade.
