Has anyone heard of the hat maker Deutsche Wert Arbeit, if so do you know where it was located during ww2. any knowledge would be appreciated. thnaks.

It literally translates to German Work Values. It's a generic makers mark. There isn't a specific location for it.

doesnt appear cheaper, very well made for sure. tailor hat i think. cheap, not at all. great doeskin, and all the fixtures, chinstrap, piping sweatband as well. i think this is a not so well known tailor made hat.

The most visor hats with "Deutsche Wertarbeit" you can find in ebay are fakes! They came in all pipings. Army and SS. Be carefull.
