Willie, does it have 14 loops? I know you have seen the Lanyard thread. I'll do some checking about.

Hmmm, 14 is the accepted amount. New made lanyards with 16 loops and period panzer award badges applied have been reported, but they have different woven knots. also for informational purposes the new 57 - on, attached acorns and shells have two twisted cords attaching them to the lanyard instead of the period single twisted cord. Joe, I think I will return this lanyard to seller as I am finding to many red flags. I ran a blacklite over it and the slides reacted big time. I think it is a clinker.

Willie I think sending it back is a good move this just does not have the quality I expect to see on these. I actually think this is a post war lanyard west German with the added insignia which may or may not be good IMO
