Hello

Thank you for the much better pics, makes identifying the badge much easier.

This badge belongs to the Vienna Family of IAB's.

There are about ten different variants with only four of them known by there maker. These examples are as follows:
R. Souval (R.S.)
F. Orth (F.O.)
W. Hobacher (W.H.)
Grossmann & Co (GR&Co.)

The other six are referred to by nicknames from collectors for ease in identifying them.

Your example is an unknown variant in worn condition referred to by collectors as a Vienna "Deep Scooped" hollow rifle with a wrap around hinge.

Your example can also be found with a barrel hinge.

Your Welcome...Hope I was able to help.

The reason these are all considered Vienna design variants is the closeness of the obverse details.

For example, compare this R. Souval with the one you posted. Obverse details are quite similar IMO.
