Here`s my latest add to my collection.

BIG thanks to Mike McAlvanah for selling this to me. Big Grin

Unfortunatelly the blade has some grey to it, but who cares, after all it`s a Bismarck and we all know how easy one of these are to come by. Wink

The picture of the BO recipients are two original PR-postcards that I have in my collection. Both Hitler and Gring are present. IMO it makes a nice addiction to the dagger. Smile

I`m sure that someone has the information you need, otherwise there`s allways the internet.

Takk skal du ha gamle rn. Smile

These pics are just a few in a long series of postcards released during WWII and were ment for propaganda purposes. I`ve been trying to find some more of them, but bad luck so far.

I just discovered these letters on the inside of both crossguards.
Does anyone know why they are there?

P. and A. stands for "Piel and Adey". This company from Solingen produced die cast metal pieces and was one of the major suppliers of cross guards for SA daggers. P. & A. marked cross guards are found quite often. BTW ... this company is still in business (http://www.koguss.de/html/english-000000)

Here my Bismarck grouping ... a SA dagger, a trench knife (which looks a little bit like a dress bayonet) and 2 straight razors. All produced by the company August Mller from Solingen, which used the trademark BISMARCK. I hope you like it!
