usually,this band is more often encountered in a printed style,this appears almost to be Bevo-like? type of embroidery,,possibly a variant but i am uncomfortable with the "dangling" threads at top and bottom of band,,also the eagles look like chicken heads to me,,maybe good,but then again,maybe not,,someone else more familiar with this style of manufacture can hopefully chime in,,,

I have not seen one manufactured like this either. A variant? Looks too complex for this stage of the war. I'm no help.
