dosnt look bad, you can see its a re issue, my only concern is why the bottom of the shield has been removed, the shape is not fully reconisable, regards phil

Any time one sees a critical area of an SS decal defaced, one should see the red flags going up. Be very careful.....

Kind of tough to say anything positive or negative about it with these photos alone. The decal doesn't appear to be a CKL, but its color doen't look champagne, either. Nor is it clear about what's under the decal. The remnant of an Army decal? If everything is right, this could be an Army helmet reisshed to the SS. BUT, you know how rare that is. right? Personally. I doubt it.
