Hello colleagues,

my friend has a possibility to buy these belt buckles... Any oppinions? Are they really Strafbataillon ones? I have only this picture.

Thanks
Jan

Hi Jan,

There is no documentary evidence at all the Strafbataillone or other correctional units wore anything other than the standrad WH buckle. Having said that, the buckles look old but your friend should perhaps not overpay for an unsubstantiated attribution.

Best regards,
Kurt
