So now that you got the answer, what happened to the pictures, and what is the answer? Since this is a FORUM, we'd ALL LOVE to know.

Well,I've heard of "Eat and Run", but this guy takes the cake!! The photos have been removed, so this must be a clandestine operation sort of like, uh... "black ops",I guess. Now, since this is a dealer in "Quality WWII German Militaria", one can only surmise that if it turned out later to be fake, and knowingly or not, he sold it, in fairness, the title should be changed to... dealer in "Not So Quality WWII German Militaria". Now I know many of you are dying to know, "What will be the fate of this helmet once authenticity has been ascertained?" Rest easy, weary SS travelers, for if it is judged to be unclean, it is sure to be cast from the mountain into helmet purgatory, never to again offend the eyes of the true believers. It'a a jungle out there. Remember, just like Hertz, there's "Quality Militaria", and.......there's "Not Exactly"!!

Hi Guys,

I am astonished by your comments. I can only say you should not make such a comment unless you know the person you are talking about.

The decals were good, like I thought.

The helmet was being offered to me and I think its better to not keep the pics posted because someone might try to go around me.

I hope this explanation will ease your troubled minds. If you look at my sites you might change your mind. It takes a lot of work to offer original, quality items in this age of high tech fakes!

Your comments are appreciated. I guess I WAS kinda hard on you. Sometimes it's just fun to stir up the hornet's nest and see what flies out. Best of luck.
