Hi guys!
I hope you dont mind, I just love the threads where we see a box sitting in the corner and have to wait. I am buying a few helmets right now that I just cant wait to get my hands on. They are the rarest of the rare and to important not to share. I promise they will be well studied and photographed before they go to their new homes.
Any guesses from someone who does not know about these????
It may be a bit before we finish this since I am in Mexico right now.
Let me know what you think!
Best Wishes,
Bob

Foamspoon and Perry,
Very funny!!! But unfortunately true these days!
Tom,
I think I mentioned 1 of them. There should be two coming and perhaps a 3rd J.
If it turns out to be two, there are 4 decals between them

Early RZM marked SS helmet named and "id" to a individual that was in the LAH . Now that is rare. It is wild guess.

Well , as long as it isn't an M42 with Dutch lion & grenade . A known original one has just been sold here in Holland , but can no longer be traced . I just hate it when that happens ..

I must agree with Brave Wolf. Are there any helmets, or is this a big April fools joke. I'm leaning in that direction.

Hey Guys!
Sorry, I am taking a class and have been super busy. Secondly I sort-of wanted to wait until I receive them before I post pics.
Since you are all to tough and I may be in jeopardy of bodily harm, here is a taste!
Yumm, enjoy!!!
To my understanding there are 4 known to exist!
Best Wishes,
Bob

She's a beauty, Bob...and "rare" is an understatement. A helmet of profound historical significance.

Cheers,

Bob, that is a BEAUTY!!!!!
I was not aware only 4 exists. I have held one of the other 4 in my hands, as it originated in Norway and was owned by a friend of mine there. It was subsequently sold to Bill Shea and appeared in Radovic vol 2. But that helmet was in much worse condition, with parts of the liner and straps missing.

A true "inner 10" Bob!!!

Hey Guys!
Well, I honestly had a heart attack when I heard the price. Then I figured it is such a rare and unique piece that I had to buy it. It has not been easy since I am out of the country and I am trying to get money to the owner. I think that problem is now fixed!
Now, there are two more, which one is almost equally unique and the other is also a rare bird! Any more guesses??
Talk soon my friends!
Bob
PS- Erik, this one has a dent and scratch on the other side but still is a nice example. To me, since the dent did not penetrate and make an eyesore I think it adds character to this example. I had a DD Field police helmet with a dent in the posterior region, it was a really cool helmet also because of the dent!

Bob, that's a Killer! Are any of the recently aquired helmets destined for your collection or are you thinking of selling them? Looking forward to the next installment. Tim.
