These are not flags, but pennants. Looks good so far, but could you post some pics of the corners that shows if the seems are reinforced? Are there any lines attached to them? Any stamps or other markings?
Regards Trond.

Bismarck, thank you for taking a look and for the analysis, I'm posting some "seam shots" now
Jason, good to hear from you, we (my family and I) were blessed with extreme good fortune. I own 3 houses all three were smack dab in the middle of the path that Ike took, and they suffered no damage!! The only damage that I had was done by !@*&@! looters! The rest of my family was lucky as well, only one of their houses suffered minimal damage. This is great considering that about 1/5 of the people i know lost their entire houses! (mainly beach houses, on stilts) another 1/4 of the people that i know lost everything, all of their belongings that they didnt bring with them, and these fractions are just numbers on a screen, but understand that I know (literally) around 50% of the people that live in Galveston county. Some people got hit hard, but there is a really positive attitude in the air. It's really kind of strange that soooo many people are taking the time to help those less fortunate, I mean yeah thats how us Texans are, but I have never seen cooperation and blind friendship extend to the level that it has risen to, even in spite of this catastrophy. Honestly it makes me even more proud to tell people that I was born and raised in Texas!

There is a weird seam that runs down the whole length of the large pennant and under the white circle. Maybe someone could enlighten me as to the purpose of this....

Hi John. IMO these are original and nice ones too. The seem in the middle I belive is just for reinforcement. They could take quite a beating in the wind you know.
Allso it`s good to hear that you are safe and that your community is helping eachother out in these hard times. I`m really glad we dont see weather like this in Norway.
All the best.
Regards Trond.

Thanks Bismarck. I really appreciate your taking the time to have a look. you don't by any chance know anything about collar tabs do you? I posted a set of them and an armband in the German uniform section days ago, and numerous people have looked at them, but nobody has said anything about either item, but someone else posted something in the same forum and they got numerous replies within a matter of hours, so I guess that i'm not in "the circle" or something......
Thanks again Bismarck!

Collar tabs are not my strong area, but your armband looks OK, very late type, I'm not so strong with these late printed types, however it doesnt make my alarmbells go of.
Her's one of mine.

Well you should, as soon as possible. "Piles" like that are very exciting and I'm looking forward to your future postings.

I just realized something John. My comment on your armband was very wrong. I mixed up two different armbands. Yours is of course not a late printed version...duuuh. IMO it's an early version, but never the less a nice piece and without a doubt original. It might be an early SS-version. But now i'm in over my head here. SS are not my field.
Regards Trond.

Thank you, Supposedly the armband, collar tabs, and a cuff title all came from the same German soldier. but I guess I won't really ever know about it because everyone wants to look at the collar tabs, but only one person has commented, and from the way it sounds he is not 100% sure anyway
