I dont see anything wrong with it at all Ed - it looks like a very nice Aluminum version with hanger. Totally period from what i can see here. Nice catch

Thanks guys, This is the first one I have held so based on the earlier swords in my collection it had a newer feel to it. The only other one I had ever seen looked to be silver plate and had a nice patina. Thank you for your help. Out of 7 TR swords and daggers I bought this week only one was post war . I have better than rebuilt the collection I had in the 70's which was lost. Thanks for the help, Ed
