I need some input on the $ value of a civic M-34 Red Cross helmet. (see my avatar). These helmets are never for sale, and once in awaile when one is, it is in terrible condition. Mine is used but only slightly, borderline mint. Beautiful, supple liner and chin strap. 100% paint and decal. I have owned this helmet for a very long time, but never see one at any shows or on the internet for sale. It is not for sale, but would just like to know your opinons on the dollar value. Thanks.

Thanks for the first input. I feel that these helmets are much rarer than SS or para helmets. I bought mine at a MAX show when it used to be in Baltimore. I have never seen one since. At any current MAX, you will see loads of para and SS, but never a Red Cross.

I care. I would really like to find one myself, but most of the ones I have seen are fakes, or they are well out of my price range.

Things are tight at the moment and most helmet collectors collect combat helmets and buy civil helmets on a whim when they have spare cash , it looks like a fine lid if its all genuine and minty then I would say $600 or so thats just my opinion and not based on anything solid .Rob
