Hello!

Nice pieces - do you already have a Jul-corner in your household as well?

It will soon be time to light up the Julleuchters! The wife said no to the Jul-corner. Maybe next year! Big Grin

Germania Christmas dinner.

Evidently the Yeulechter was given or awarded at this dinner as evidenced by the new candle boxes on the table the new candles being burned and the candle award certificate at the side.

Hello,

Mr. Pepera - that is a nice part of a picture and I really like that card with the Julleuchter!!

To Mr. "Kingtiger": a Jul-corner was supposed to be in every serious SS-household for celebrating the wintersolstice.
A big wooden chest from oak (a tree of life / Lebensbaum as the symbol for the family history and the roots of their ancestors was carved upon the surface / the front side of the chest) containing family documents and the Julleuchter upon the chest. Behind the chest a special handwoven tapestry with animal themes and a tree of life on it again.

I recently picked that up in an older article written in the "Militaria" - magazine published by Klaus Patzwall in Germany.

Happy wintersolstice!
