I recieved a 100% tropical jacket. Only problem is the imo not original sewn eagle. One collector i asked for said its fake and one collector said its a 100% original tropical eagle for "Tropen Sonderbekleidung der SS". Some opinions from this forum?

M.B.....SS tropical sleeve eagles are quite common....but in BeVo weave, not machine embroiderey.I have never seen a tropical sleeve eagle like the one you posted here.Original or repro for that matter. It dosent resemble the typical embroidered SS sleeve eagle.Personally I do not like that sleeeve eagle you have posted.....maybe more members will chime in and shed some light on the subject. For myself however that is not an eagle I would want on a 100% correct jacket as you stated.Perhaps you should post more photos of the jacket also.
