Robert, This one looks good to me but I would like too see the obverse to be sure. If it is a fake then it's time to be very worried!

I also want to add that this is the lowest number on a 2nd pattern that I have seen. This number could be a late issue 1st pattern given to a Putsch veteran. There were a number of 2nd pattern BO's awarded to Putsch vets due to applications for the award coming after the 1st striking was canceled.

The lettering has a few problems in my opinion. Also the colour of the medal. The 800 stamp is a little different. Having said that I would like to add it to my "interest" collection.

The definition and clarity has much to be desired.
The total, overall color is which I have never seen before and seemingly being a feeble attempt to copy the original smoked grey finish.
I would like to see the other side of the medal and also have it in hand to measure and weigh it but at this time, I have sincere reservations and it would not be for me.
Regards,
John

Seeing the front of the medal should tell the whole story. If it's fake it's close.

Philips. It was in a group, the document with it and the other bits real nice, although rather worn but he did not send great pics of the medal,so unable to say if it was good or not.
Always buying Blood Orders.
