Has anybody any idea what this is or from what timeframe. Is it period or post war enhanced, presentation or production?.
I have never seen one similar and need some help if possible, sorry for the poor quality picture, I do not have this piece in hand.

WWI or 20's private purchase fighting type knife. I don't think the scabbard belongs to this piece. It should have the fighting knife type scabbard.

Houston, Do you often find these fighting knives with the feathering to the hilt fittings, I always associated this addition with bayonets. It has the wooden grip plates as you would expect, unmarked and I agree that the scabbard is a mismatch. Thanks for the help.
