Ok I can resize most pictures using the XP program but sometimes a photo will not go below the 75k size.As an example I had a photo of a guy with a funny t-shirt saying on it,it would not go below 675K.WHY???

Did you try the resizing tool that Arron offers at the top of the forun?
I've had good results with it.

Ed, Vern bumped it up to 100kb recently so theres a littel more wiggle room..

Adobe PhotoShop Elements is an inexpensive program that aloows you to do a very nice job of resizing photos. It'll do a lot of other things as well. Check it out.....
