I like the female Polizei eagle very much. These are hard to find little guys.

Hello,

I agree the female cuff eagle is extremely difficult to find since they were replaced with the larger sleeve eagle and disposed of early in the war. Very nice and clean example.

I will never figure out why they were embroidered so "roughly". Compared to contemporaneous male sleeve eagles these look like really poor quality. Absolutely original, but strangely loosely embroidered. Perhaps the small size had something to do with it.

Bill Unland

I know what you mean, when I got it it had threats hanging off the sides of it as if it had been sewn on something and recently removed. This one is as ugly as the one on my female tunic. I have other eagles from SOS I picked up but I have changed my mind on posting.

Bill once again thanks for the kind words.

Dear Joe,

Sorry to hear that you changed your mind, but I understand. I always enjoy seeing new birds. I personally haven't found a new one in almost a year. The supply has totally dried up......at least to me!
