Hello all, im probably gonna sell the armband just wanted to double check to make sure its good. I also found a Luftwaffe eagle i always assumed was a repro but never showed anyone. Im also posting a postal trapezoid ive always felt bad about. Just wanted to double check before i throw them in the repro drawer.

The armband, I agree, is a 'good' one. The luft. bird, in some circles, shall we say is controversial. I don't know but, I like it. The postal trap sure has an odd symmetry to it's left leg pattern but, otherwise appears 'good'. Again, I'm probably more confusing than helpful.

Thanks Raymond for your input! Mike no it doesnt make it more confusing. I know about the controversary surronding the Luft insignia.I've heard it from both sides since i got it. I have yet to see it in a pic or a book? But then again i havent looked real hard and the configuration of the eagle on the postal has always raised doubts in my mind. I know these aren't expensive items but sure is fun trying to figure everything out! thanks again

Greetings to all,
The Armband is the favored woven style and original.
The Luft BeVo eagle appears original as well, but make sure it is woven of rayon threads-There is an exact repro of this style but done in poly threads.
The trapezoid is also original and of the type worn on Reichsbahn Baschlikmutzen(M43 type) caps.
Cheers,

Thanks John this is good news about the Luft eagle. The threads appear to be rayon. I still wonder where these where worn.
