To me.....it actually looks pretty unmessed with. Very subtle camo there. But "Authenitic". IMO. If you go to Therupturedduck.com, you'll see one with a similar green on it there.

The liner looks replaced and the helmet has been cleaned IMO. Not a very good example

Thanks guys. Your observations are greatly appreciated. Thank you all for your time...

Stephan,

I noticed from another post in 2004 that you were working on your pilot's license or ratings. How did you do? I used to fly commercially. Charters, ambulance, taxi and tours.. I'm a classic CFI burn out.... Still current though....

Lemme guess. You read the "Who Are You" thread? Yes, I am currently at the Delta Connection Academy and I'm doing my Multi rating. Currenly Commerical but not exercising privilages yet. I have an uncle who flies as an A320 check pilot for a major European airline (wink, wink) and he has already inquired as to my availability. Me Mum is over there now getting an outline of what he wants me to bring to the table (hours, class exp. etc.) I hope I don;t have to do CFI. It would save me about 1.5 years and $17,000. I'll bet I do though. I'll be a more well rounded pilot then anyway.

Stephan,

Thanks! I'll post better images when it gets here. Hope I like it.. Looking for an authentic chinstrap.

Flight instructing can get tedious at times. But through teaching, I really learned how to fly with authority/confidence. I have a little over 1000 hrs. Inst. given.. I'm a leisure pilot now..

Well, keep it safe by always filing IFR. Behind loss of aircraft control, MAC is the second leading cause of GA accidents.

Till later.

Based on the limited photos, looks like a winner. But liner appears to have some "lumping" to one side. Any signs the liner has been out?

Erik

All of the split rivets appear unmolested..

It doesn't look like the liner has been out...

Please define "lumping"...

Oh!

I thought you might be refering to Lumpy Rutherford, the comic book collecting bully with the old jalopy that continually pestered Beaver and his older brother Wally ....

;o)

Decent lid and a decent price. I like the touches of green camo paint evident on the eagle.
