Gentlemen,

How rare are M33 SS daggers by Ed. Gembruch? I have done a search here and there seems to be no real definate answer. Very scarce, rare, very rare? Also what would be a realistic value for one in various condition grades such as Very good, Fine, Excellent, etc?

Thanks in advance.

Tony

Hi Tony,

I would say a Gembruch SS would certainly rate rare. How rare I don't know but I haven't seen that many over the last 8 years or so. I remember Gailen had a nice one on his site maybe 2 years ago.

With due respect jodagger, if you read the second sentence of my original post you will see that I have done a search of the forum. Some questions still remain unanswered. Thanks for your reply. Roll Eyes

Thanks Billy,

Getting a realistic value is one of my goals. It's a decent, unmessed with dagger that wears it's age well. While not mint, NM, or the various Exc+++++ ad nauseum, it is an honest dagger from a vet's estate in very good to fine condition with no major problems.

I will bring along the Gembruch to the SOS and show it to Gailen and some others. It's not for sale at this time.

All the best,

Tony

You beefed Doug's list out, so you must receive some credit...
