Well, retirement does have an up side! I'm finally finding time to take some pictures of the collection.
This one is for the Krag-Jorgensen rifle and not often seen with the German WaA markings - hope you enjoy....

I have a similar Norwegian Krag made during the occupation. Same rough finish, marked with Kongberg's simplified crowned K "Tool Mark" , no final to scabbard, and ufortunately no waffenamt.
The scabbard is numbered 43. I use to believe it to be the year of production, but Denny's Krag seems to be serialed.
Many more bayonets than rifle were produced during 43 / 44.
