Nice original buckle! The belt has wider borders than expected and maybe the belt slide has been changed (different fabric than the brocade), but I still believe all parts are original (belt, slides et buckle). Cannot confirm the brocade before having it in hands, but once more I believe it is an original.

Is it for sale?

Thanks Jean Pierre.

I'm considering buying it if the price is right.
What would be too much here ? 3000 USD ??

Thanks.

Ulf.

Well, I shopped around before I paid "the ticket" for mine. Ruptures Duck had one in April, mint in the original box. Sold it next
month for I believe $4,200.

Maybe it would be wise to shop a bit more ...

I agree Jean Pierre,
I'd love to find one at a garage sale this week. But when I was looking I could not find a
"deal" on a mint one. And most the "majors" have already sold theirs in the 4K range.
Craig Gotlieb has one on hold for $4,200.
He also has a buckle (one Keeper) on hold for
$1800! They ARE bringing these kind of prices.
But yes, I don't pay that for my mint one.
It does pay to shop around.

The two SS brocades you are referring to were/are Allgemeine SS brocades. These are usually selling for more $$ than SS Police/W-SS ones which are much more common. We should also recall that Bill listed and sold very recently a mint SS Police / W-SS brocade, never issued and still with its RZM/SS tag, for $950. Of course brocade only (no SS buckle). Its only pitfall been a very large size (145 cm) but who cares when displayed rolled up as many does. Still $950 ...
