Hi Gents,
Has anyone seen this maker mark before? Looks to be a capital "B" with a crown. An identical mark, albeit smaller, appears on the other side of the blade.
The mark is on a Feuerwehr sidearm from Alsace that I've had about 10 years, the scabbard sports a frog lug of unusual shape that I'll attempt to get a picture of. Alsace is arguably German although I suppose it's possible the blade's manufacturer is nonGerman as well. Many thanks for any help or opinions you can share.
