Center of the one with the twisted rope shows that the wings are somewhat turned down ! As you might have noted from the side-by-side photos , they are also of different overall size from each other.

Bernd, excellent insignia. The officer grades are rather surprisingly well done. I've always been impressed by my one example. It appears both of your other ranks are on black, is that correct?
I suspect there was an old thread on this subject although likely gone like the others. one that may have had Gary's tunic and overcoat?

The greatcoat has different insignia but made of the same ruth material, feels like it has had the addition of straw when manufactured.
has a great looking cuff title in crimson

Left side of the bevo insignia has been worn down . Someone told me , that they sometimes wore the helmet over the cap and thereform the wear off the insignia on this left side .!--- Makes as little sense as many other things !

I had shown these collar tabs before and the guess was that they were early Firefighter . But now , following the collar tabs on Gary's fine tunic , I believe these are Officer's grade Werkschutz collar tabs .
