This was an ad from Reddick Enterprises. I never saw one in hand. Maybe one of the other members has seen one. It’s hard to believe they were left overs.

Great ad, thanks for posting it. The example shown definitely looks like some of the fakes we see on Eban from time to time, note the chunky stag & exaggerated mortise key outline. Some of these pieces also had casting borders on the crossguard too. I believe these are completely postwar production rather than rehilted period pieces. Back then $115 wasn't the chump change it is now, wonder how many people got skunked on these.
