A man after my own heart!

Very nice and it has the most acknowledged and accepted nickel silver runes button.

Congratulations on accomplished and successful collecting.

Thanks for the kind words.Yes,it is from "the old brigade".Seiler,no there are not initials on the pommel. The sword with initials on pommel was on Johnsons site and is now avaiable by Weitze.
Best regards.

Beautiful SS degen and well worth the price Wink...........if you were paying in euros.
Since the British pound has depreciated by more than 30% in the last few months, everything bought in the UK with US or Euro currency, makes it a real bargain.

When the stood at $2 US collectors were moaning, I remember saying at the time it was only a matter of time before the pendulum swung back and it will swing back again ultimately, it's timing with this job, if I sold stuff to US dealers now I'd probably be quids in, twelve months ago I wouldn't have dreamed of sending anything across the pond.
Thing is, this time is it happened very quick and for British collectors there is the double wammy that not only has the pound shrunk against the dollar, but even more so against the Euro, having almost parity at the moment, what a time to get your first piece of Allach straight from the Fatherland Roll Eyes, I always was lucky Roll Eyes well something like that Frown
