Hello. I've been offered this sword by the grandson of a vet. Can anyone give me an idea as to what it is and a ballpark value? Any help is appreciated.
Cheers -Rich

You will need better pictures than those for someone to help you. Specifically tang markings and blade shots. Close ups.

Hi, Try to take the pics in natural light using a tripod and the timer setting on your camera. A lot of defused lighting makes for a much clearer picture. 99% sure it's a machine-made. Look em up on ebay, completed auctions of swords with Seki stamps. I don't follow the current prices of gunto.
