Dow,

Overall it looks like a nice dagger but the picture quality on a few area makes it difficult to say for certain. Looks like a Ground Rolm. Not sure if it is the picture or the blade cross graining may look strange. Also hard to tell from the pictures but the motto barground looks light like the blade may have been polished at one time. All of this could be the pictures and it may be fine. Some higher quality pictures of blade would help.

Thanks, Blademan

And... you already know it has been taken down because the lower crossguard is on backwards. You also have the scabbard on backwards. Smile The scabbard looks blued... is it?

I'm not sure if the scabbard is blued. These are the only pixs seller has shown me. I have a problem with the SS motto it just does not look right, the blade grain and the grip looks brand new. I'm not expertised on Bokers. But it could be ok.

I personally don't see a lot wrong here. (Motto ?? may just be the pics. This dagger is a GROUND ROHM ( I personally have never seen a repro Rohm by this maker) now to match that the fittings and grip eagle should be nickel silver as well as the scabbard fittings. As mentioned the lower c/guard is on back to front. An early grip like this one should be ebony.

Maybe it's just the photo's, but that motto doesn't look quite right. I'd pass regardless of price. Some of the parts may be legit, but that blade, in my opinion, isn't.

the blade looks genuine just polished with emery paper the grips looks to have been refinished
any signs of a grip repair do you get black residue when you rub the grip with paper?

Thanks for the replys. I'm going to pass on this Boker. If any one is interested the seller has it on Jan C Still's Luger forum gunboards.com in the trader forum.
