Maybe good? Who knows? IF you are interested, you should get a close up or two of the chain and the little round links holding the chain together. Remember, even though the "uncomparable" new SA book doesn't mention the fact, the holes in the links should not be square, rather they should be "U" shaped where those little round links are affixed.

Wes, I used to deal with a local guy in San Bernardino that aged daggers by just throwing them in the locked tool box in the bed of his pickup and drove around for a few weeks before selling his "original" dagger.

I looked at the ebay sale and when you zoom in, it does appear to have the “U” shaped holes. There are high end fakes which mimic the proper holes these days and there are other characteristics to note as well. This one appears from the so-so pictures to be legitimate. Best Wishes, Bob

is it unusual for that period dagger to have both the eickhorn trademark and rzm 7/66? at least that is what the seller claims.... waiting on better pics like everyone else...

It is hard to say for 100%, of course, but IMHO it looks convincing. Aging looks real and general appearance as well. But, considering the seller's strange attitude it is better to walk away, even if the final price will be a bargain. I wouldn't risk, no way.
