Hey gang Well first off I wish to say hi to all of you as I'm new to this particular forum. I'm a 19 year who recently got into SA items...and I recently purchased my first SA uniform, and well I've bought pretty much everything needed to complete her. All I'm missing are 3 items (Kepi, neck tie, boots) but as luck has it, I may have found 2 of the 3 left on my list  And well seeing I'm new to SA related items would love to hear opinions from more knowledgable collector's on these pieces before I make a purchase thx alot gys chris sry for the terrible pictures but these are the best the seller can do P.S. there are a few items I'm looking for..but not to sure where to post them in?? Can anybody let me know the appropriate section please....thx

Hey johann nice to see you too buddy.. and ya well she's getting there slowly but surely..at 19, certain piece are hard to buy.... but at the rate that I'm going, by 60 I'll have my own museum ahaha Will keep everybody posted when the uniform is completed..... Ryan thx for your input man....Now I know those Kepis are great... But I decided to go with the second one I posted, price is high...but in that condition can't pass it up. But just that tie thats bothering me.. been getting alot of heat good and bad.....  donno what to do LOL later guys

The tie looks okay. I had bought like 3 or 4 of these off of e-bay several years ago, but they're long gone now. The section of the tie that goes around the neck, about 18", is reinforced stitched, with a diagonal stitch at each end of the reinforcement.
I'm still looking for my gau Franken kepi. I'm just set up with an SA/NSKK crash/riot helmet. Are you doing a dress tunic or braunshirt display?

Hey Johann
Doing a full browshirt display... But was woundering was searching through alot of period images and have seen quite a few pictures of the troops wearing gloves??? Was this a common thing amount all SA troops?? If so, where do you score a pair of those lol

You mean like these? Well, NSKK motorcycle riders wore the leather gauntlet gloves, like Luft flyers. These have Stocko snaps...

You don't see them all that often. I bought these for a Luft pilot display. I got them from Jos Le Conte, the moderator of the equipment forum at the other forum...Like I said, these have Stocko snaps, I would also trust or expect to see them with PRYM snaps as well...
