I believe this is a repro. The shape of the grip and the poor quality of the Alcoso etch are what leads me to this conclusion, however, I would like some of the more experienced members to chime in.

The blades fuller is way off, it shouldnt end so abruptly.Tiep

Look at the reverse crossguard (about the 3rd pic. down), the two parallel groves on the guard should end in a point (IE, come together), but here they just disappear.
Poor casting.

This is the third or forth repro in the last week listed on E-bay that is going to burn someone for big bucks. First that pot bellied Diplo, then a SS, and others.

Hey fellas the RAD triangle etch is missing as well. Also I don't think I have seen an Alcoso EM only the officer model.The guy selling that should be kicked in the jewels!!! Too bad someone is going to buy it. I may try to step in on this as someone did for me some years ago.

Well I just Emailed the seller and told him he is selling a copy of a german dagger. I will let you guys know what he has to say about it and hopefuly he will end the auction.

Alright guys I got the guy to end the auction. He just recently sold a real RAD EM and was a bit suspicious of this one. He also said from the info he found on the internet it seemed to be correct so he listed it as original. Well thats one for the good guys!!!Now a few thousand more to go!!
