I wish I had the skill and patience to do something like that.

Great models - show us more.

Could you add a dagger or two to the helmet ?

Dave, Rick made that wool army blanket from a piece of toilet paper! Roll Eyes

When I asked him why the German helmet he said "Vet bring back". Wink

This is really neat. In a realistic setting and with the work done on the Tiger to age it you would have a real fooler.

One more, all the various slogans were done freehand with a pastel art pencil. I know it took him about six months to add the mud. In person in looks even better, actually looks like different mud splashed on at different times. The base is an Italian floor tile from when we remodeled the kitchen, he actually painted it with oil paints so it would look like a muddy road. The stone blocks are made from 1 inch floor tiles used to scratch build our shower. The concrete ruble was from a chunk of something from an old building foundation. The clay vases are actually tiny clay pots from an art/hobby store. And every single piece is stained, choreographed and then glued in place to boot!

At some point in the future a U.S. G.I. walking a German P.O.W. to the rear will be added to the road along the right side of the tank, then he'll finish detailing the debris on that side.

A never ending project! Smile
