Very nice daggers.Thanks for showing them. I look forward to seeing more items from your grandfathers collection,especially his items from the war. Did he ever tell you stories of his service time? My family members never talk about theirs,which is a shame.History should be told by those who lived it.

Thanks ! Yes my grandfather was theling me his war storys, some horifaying, some even fany !
His bets story are abouth the end of the war, when he and his divizion ( 7 SS Prinz Evgen ) were on retred from balkan ! At that time, they have some of the moust dificult beattles with Tito partizans ! He sad that partizans have always executed all captured german solders, specialy waffen SS solders ! Once he found some members of his unit haing on the apple tres, some 12 guys and they have taken their faces of, with razor blades ! Some realy horifaying things hapend in the balkan, speacily involving SS Handžar divizion, becourse they were muslims and they have acualy inyoyd kiling croat farmers, man, women, children ! Even other Waffen SS divizions were horifayd by their dids ! I have seen some pcturs of SS Handžar divizion crimes and they are realy bad ! I am waithing to receve some picturs of my grandfather ( from my uncle ),when he was in prinz Evgen and show them here on the forum !
