Hi guys i was wondering if i could help with identifying this sword. Im at work at the moment and cant get to my copy of swords of germany.

Hey There, I got out Angolias book and on page 106, your sword looks like the Carl Julius Krebs No.3. You can see how the eagles head faces to the right when most face to the left. Also the button part of the backstrap piece that secures it top the handle is in the shape of a cirle. Hard to describe part. Anyway, hope this help.
