Rare PzKpfw III Ausf D designed and built around the basic design of the existing Panzer III but built as the command variant.

Thirtytwo were ordered but the full order was never met, the major differences were thicker armour, dummy main armourment, unusual suspension configuration and with its turret fixed, bolted in place and equipped with additional vision and pistol ports.

The large framed antenna on the rear deck, twin aeriels easily distinguished this Panzer III from others.
