Kevin, you are a show off. And you have every right, of course, since these badges are best seen in their original context and not torn from it, as is so often the case. Kevin is especially lucky with this piece to have snagged a remarkable item from an old collection.

Donnerwetter! Complete with Revell model kits of the era, or are those Aurora? The cap even has the tell-tale loose thread from where the seamstress finished the cap band. A staggering piece. What did it see between 194X and 1960?
