I am looking to add to my DLV collection and was wondering if this badge is scarce or not. Not that it really matters about scarcity but I dont want to pay out of my nose on it. Can anyone give me a rough estimate. The things mint, see photo. ges gesh.... on back that looks to be brass.Thanks ahead , Tiep

These enameled NSFK flight badges were WIDELY faked. And these repros are quite good and convincing. I heave heard these were done by J.F. out of Austria. Many I have seen had a mottled age look to the backs.

These do exist, and real ones turn up, but for me unless it came from a vet or with an iron clad return policy, I would pass.

Thanks guys, I smelled a rat when I found one for sale for way more... I always question price and why its so dang perfect for so cheap. Always appreciate your advise too guys,I dont know much about badges, heres a reverse shot of it.Bottom line ,is it fake????.Ed do you have any reference I can go to that I can compare to?
