That is a 155/36 dated eagle.

The eagle is early made in 1936 with the earliest dates observed being 1935 examples coded 155 and 394. The piece is either silver plated tomback or cupal, I would have to see a side shot.

Hi Erick:

It is hard to me to say for sure from that picture, but if where the edges of the eagle were cut all the way around the eagle you have what appears to be aluminum running all the way around the eagle with a width of around 1 to 2 mm aprox (the aluminum will be white metal colored generally with no patina) the piece is cupal, and I think I see it in the photos....if you do not have that but rather at the cut mark that runs around silver plate then a silver over tomback piece.
