I know these arent the best pictures, but does anything jump out as being wrong with this FJ helmet? Or is it ok?

Cammo looks atifically aged.....
No makers/size marks on the liner....
Stiching looks wrong.....
Straps look wrong....

Of course i could be wrong .... Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin
(but i wouldnt spend much on it...)

I agree with the rest of the members. the biggest thing that jumps out for me is that the inside is painted. Remember most of these original field paint jobs were quickly done with a spray gun. or brush job. I find it highly unlikely the soldier would take the entire thing apart just so the inside could be painted. Next is the Liner, The leather stitching is locks to be done by hand. The shell its slef has a sand paper look to it as far as aging goes. and other obvious reasons that the others pointed out. Becareful and dont be fooled by rust as it can be created in a matter of 24 hours. I would deffinately pass on this one.

there is also some camo paint over the pitting.
usually not a good sign.

The whole thing is a Czech fake from the ground up. There are no original atoms in that helmet.
