Hello gentlemen ! On the lid on my holster there is a marking that say SA in a frame. What kind of marking is that ? Best, Hakan

i believe that is the marking for the post-WW II Finnish Army,Souami Army,i hoped i spelled that right,,Germany provided some field equipment that was used by the Finns against the Russians,,,

militarymania is right, that's a Finnish property marking. The mark isn't just post WWII though. It was used before and during WWII as well.

These SA stamping are seen quite frequently on PO-08 holster sold in the US. During the early 1990s "somebody" imported a bunch of them and they were eventually sold off at gun shows, etc. Quite a bit of history is associated with these German made holsters. You will also see the Luger tools with A stamped into the metal.
