Here are 3 you dont see together too often, all 3 WKC crossguards and all early configs. These all have tapered tangs and interesting to note the trademarks on the reverse and obverse. The 2nd type is rarely seen and my thanks to Paul @ R.V.M for completing the set . Anybody else have all 3 ?.

War is when your government tells you who the enemy is. Revolution is when you figure it out for yourself.

Degens:
Beautiful grouping. Your Mid Period WKC is in remarkable shape. Generally they have a bit of flaking going on here and there. Yours looks perfect. All three are in great condition for that matter, and very photogenic.

What a wonderful original set of WKC's. I didn't know that one could find a tapered tang on the later version. Learned something new.

Well done! Wonderful looking pieces. Love that nice, even patina. I also like how all 3 have different style pommel caps. Very nice. Definitely winners.

You've just got to love those 'common' armies. I keep trying to put together a nice big chunk of money for something 'expensive' but nice armies keep cropping up and I can't resist them.

Congrats Degens.
Very nice group indeed.
WKC daggers are among my favorites, but so far I only got one army and one navy.
Regards Trond.

Wonderful grouping have you studied the maker marks? I have often wondered if the WKC mark was exactly the same through out the period?
