An excellent site with step by step instructions on how to build this magnificent model. It's the static model - not the full option r/c model. http://www.naritafamily.com/howto/Tiger1/photo_frame.htm

I really useful and terrific site Bernie - thank you.
I have not built models for about 3 years - just too busy. But seeing this makes me think I want to start up again.

It is actually one 1/35 model. As I am getting father very soon and start thinking already about the Tiger 1/16 model from Tamiya. Is the 1/16 model from the build up same as the 1/35 in the above link? Example to make the welding lines and so on or is the 1/16 model already so much detailed regarding the size?

Thanks Bernie, that was a great pictorial and I think I may get my tank out and study it very carefully and maybe start doing some small parts to see how I can do it. That painting and detail is very hard, but when done right it looks spectacular for sure. Mark
