I just turned a complete RCMP tunic, 'smokey bear hat' and breeches. I planned to out it on ebay and found nothing similiar had been sold including completed auctions?

Is there a provision (by the ebay gestapo) that prohibits this sort of stuff?

I think eBay prohibits the sale of any Police artifacts.

Yeah, more and more agencies are bullying E-Bay, who fold like a cheap suit.

Currently I know all RCMP, US Postal Police, US Customs will get yanked. Word also circulating that NYPD might get on board as well.

The other problem is E-Bay's murky descriptions on banned items. It basically boils down to whatever they "think" or if someone drops a dime. They will just yank the auction and don't even bother to wait for an explanation, you won't get it.

The thing everyone needs to remember is that Ebay is "big business" and they want to please the "masses" and that it is a privately owned business so the owners can do what they want more or less. JohnJ

I think it makes sens. You don't want terrorists and criminals to be able to buy police or custom uniforms off Ebay.
