They are German WWII Navy Artillery 7 x 50 binoculars manufactured by E. Leitz, Wetzlar. Yes, they are good. Are the optics clear? Focus adjustments working and smoooth?

I see bakelite and Third Reich era manufacturing codes, overall condition , i would jump..when you see enough of them, file it away for the next time and make the jump with a less queasy feeling!!..with E-bay, there is always a next time!!

Well, they could have been used by any facet of the KM..this power of magnification is often found employed by the coastal artillery..

If they were artillery they would probably be art. marked and would have ( most likely) a graticule in them. As they stand a good set that would clean up well , no eye cups though - they are missing. The coverings are missing off the objective tubes - few of this type have good coverings - usually dry , cracked and ready to fall off.
