Thanks Guys. I appreciate the kind words. I have wanted one of these since I was a kid. Never thought I could get a real SS combat lid. The M40s too me have always been the epitome of The WAFFEN SS combat helmet. M35 DDs are nice and Id love one someday (maybe when I get on my feet from this purchase)but this one fits the bill very well. Id like too thank Kelly Hicks as well as John Suprin for helping me with getting it. Both are fine gentlemen and a credit too this hobby. And thank you guys for your knowledge and willingness too share it with neophytes such as myself. I have learned alot from reading your old posts........ Kindest Regards Jimmy

The heavy gold-toned ET shield is kind of unusual, but I think it's a nice one. A good start, indeed. Congratulations! Shu
