Hello,
Yet another new reproduction police eagle has hit the German market. This one is really quite good and nearly "there". The embroidery is clean and tight and the design is a copy of the "cylon" eagle, a known legit. pattern. Luckily there has been no attempt to age or use better background material....YET. Another one to watch out for, unfortunately.
These are on the infamous "militaria321" auction site, a site where new repros often make their debut!

The forgers have been doing their homework. The quality of embroidery is much improved. Once they get everything in order cloth collecting is in great peril.
