Here are some pics of the Kober SA that came in yesterday's mail. Sorry that the pics aren't "JR" quality. It is much better in-person than the crappy seller-supplied pics (and my crappy pics) show.

Let me know what you think!

Nice woodgrain, good fit to crossguards, looks like crossgrain visible and I really like that M.M. Also like to find them in that uncleaned condition when it comes to SA. Where did ya aquire it, if you dont't mind my asking?

Damn nice dagger John. It looks as though it hasn't been apart since the day it was assembled. Love the crisp edges on the tang nut and the patina on the cross guards. Very nice piece. Unmessed with.

Hopefully by the end of the week I'll have a Kober in hand, it'll make the second Suhl maker for me....... and hopefully it'll be as nice as yours. Congrats Smile

Thanks for the comments guys.

Mike- I found this on a non-militaria website classifieds, along with the HJ knife I have a thread on in the HJ forum, a mint JFS bronze IAB, un-marked silver wound badge, cased EK1, and sewn-swaz armband.

No lie, the sellers asking price for this dagger, with the partial 3-piece hanger, was $200 usd. No kidding! I paid $50 usd for that HJ knife!

This is my find of the decade- It will never happen to me again!!

Good on ya John. Glad to to see you pick up some great stuff for a good deal. All of it could have just as easily ended up buried in a trash heap somewhere.
