Got a OLD poish about 1910 made watch and really its a rare maker, but look at whats on it. does anyone have any thoughts or what you think?? I really don't believe a person would mess up a original of this rarity, could this be a item a flyer brought into service with him?

someone has really cleaned the heck out of the blackend gun metal case, but still it would have been blackend with brass fitings.

I am sorry, but I do not like that one at all. Look at the lowest arm of the swastika. Looks much more narrow then the others.

This watch seams to me to be like many others being "offered" on Ebay by a crook in Bulgaria. I think he is making these in his back yard shed, along with engraved "U-boat Commander" engraved cigarette cases and a lot of "U-boat" compass cases. In one case, the guy mispelled the "U-boat commanders" name on his forgery!

Sorry, but I this is my 2 cents

Also note the "L U F T" in front of the "Luftwaffe" on the dail face? Much deeper then the rest, "WAFFE" Very bad sign. I have seen alot of nice watches from this guy, but none looked real Army / Navy / Luftwaffe once.

I am sorry, but I cant stop...

Do you think the "high and mighty" Luftwaffe people would seriously bring in some "rare" (at the time) Polish wathes and remark them as Luftwaffe property? I know the Germans did this with guns, but high quality watches? hummm

If in doubt, the best book for Military watches is Mr Konrad Knirims book on the subject. It is big and heavy, expect some high postage on this one, but..it sure is worth it
